I'm learning so much more about photography in my college film class than i ever did in 2 years of my high school photography class. i'm very excited with what this new experience will bring to my skills and how it may effect my style as a photographer. i will try and post as much as i can without a scanner :P hopefully this is a new and better beginning that will lead me to something beautiful. let's see if my muse will visit me soon :D i can feel inspiration right around the corner.

I want to get away from taking cliche pictures and start creating my own style. I want to take more pictures of nature and people getting an origional perspective on it, i want to capture life at a whole new angle. Right now i feel very weak in photoshoping and although i've come a long way I still have yet to learn a lot of the basics. My goals are to master photoshop, to get pro at the dark room, and use the manual settings on my camera more often. I already feel comfortable making my own prints but i want to start changing it up and start adding colors and tones, i also want to try double exposure, different lenses (like fish eye), and get

I still feel really new at all this photo stuff although it's really fun discovering totally new things everyday. i think i've come pretty far but i still crave inspiration, i don't feel like i've found what i'm looking for yet. i want something i'm really proud of, something that would make me feel amazing. my one dream is to touch people with my photography and open their eyes to something new but who knows when that will be. oh! i really need a model too. i love taking pictures of people but lately i've had to use myself and i really don't like being a self model. i really hope this year is a good one, full of learning and growth. ~pea
